Osmo Decking Oil 014D is formulated specifically for Massaranduba (Brazilian Redwood) decking — one of the densest, most durable tropical hardwoods used in exterior decking. The colour is matched to complement Massaranduba's rich, deep red-brown tone, enhancing the natural beauty of the timber while delivering Osmo's proven penetrating oil protection against water, dirt, and UV.

Like all Osmo Decking Oils, it won't crack, peel, or flake, and can be recoated without sanding when maintenance is required. Safe for humans, animals, and plants once dry.

Suitable Timber Species

Primarily formulated for Massaranduba. Also suitable for other dense tropical hardwoods with similar colour tones. Note: Massaranduba and other tropical species require a minimum 3-month weathering period before initial treatment to improve absorbency.

Application

• Apply thinly and evenly with a stiff brush or lint-free cloth along the grain
• Two thin coats recommended — allow first coat to dry fully before applying second
• Wood must be clean, dry, and frost-free (max. 20% moisture content)
• Do not thin — product is ready to use

Coverage

Approximately 8–12m² per litre. The 2.5L covers approximately 20–30m² per coat.
